Manx New Potatoes are now available across the Island, for an outlet nearest you please look at the 2010 Produce Guide (click here for the link to Manx Produce Guide 2010).
New Manx Potatoes have thin skins and tend to have a firm waxy texture. They are young potatoes and keep their shape once cooked.
The most popular variety available on-Island is Rocket but also being grown are Ulster Sceptre, Concord and Craigs Alliance.
By buying local fresh Manx New Potatoes you are supporting our Island economy and purchasing produce with minimal food miles.
Other vegetables coming into season now are – organic and conventional – Spring Greens, Summer Cabbage, Pak Choi, Chard, Spinach, Courgettes, Lettuce and early carrots.
